On February 28, 2026, the Lviv Region Kickboxing Championship ISKA took place. At these competitions, our team set an absolute record for the entire history of the Asket club - for the number of awards won in one tournament.
So, our club represented 26 athletes at these competitions, who played a total of 72 matches and won 54 of them and took first place in the team, namely:
43 gold medals
8 silver medals
7 bronze medals
58 awards are not just statistics. This is a natural result of systematic work under the leadership of coach Levon Oganesyan. He consistently forms a team that is already one of the largest and most productive in Ukraine.
We would like to separately note:
Petr Zubyk, who made his debut in the ring at the age of 38 and won a strong-willed gold medal of the tournament.
Nestor Nesterenko - who entered the ring for the first time in his life and immediately won his first victory. A confident start.
Danylo Bogonis - who held a record six fights for the tournament and deservedly became the Champion of the Lviv region. His progress with each competition turns into a stable result.
