July 18 — Birthday of the Thai Boxing and Kickboxing Club "Asket"!

Today we celebrate another year in the history of our club. A year of hard work, development, achievements and people who, with their dedication, make “Asket” stronger every day. There are results that do not require loud words. They are best shown by the results. For “Asket” this year was just that. In 2025, our team won 1st team place in the Ukrainian Championship, 2nd team place in the Ukrainian Cup and 2nd team place in the Kyiv Region Cup. In 2026, we have already won 1st team place in the Regional Championship, 1st team place in the Lviv Region Cup and 3rd team place in the Ukrainian Championship. During the year, 19 club members became Champions of Ukraine. Three athletes won the belts of the Champions of Ukraine among professionals, and three more won the belts of the Champions of Europe. This year, 1 international-class master of sports, 4 masters of sports and 6 candidates for masters of sports were trained. We successfully held the largest All-Ukrainian tournament in the last 10 years, the 2026 Lviv Region Cup, which brought together over 700 participants. The club's coach Levon Hovhannesyan held three master classes, passing on his experience to the younger generation. Thanks to the support of our partners, we managed to improve the club's material base - a new tatami mat was laid in the gym, which made the training process even more comfortable and safe. It is especially pleasing that during the year eight new companies and organizations joined the team of our partners, who believed in our cause and help us move forward. The scale of the club is measured not by words, but by the people it has raised, the victories they have won, and the path they are taking together. Ahead are new names, new titles, new international starts, new achievements and new peaks. And we will do everything to ensure that the flag of Ukraine rises more and more often above the pedestals of the most prestigious international arenas, and that among those who create the history of Ukrainian sports, the family name “Asket” invariably sounds. Happy Birthday, “Asket”!
